NOTICE

APPOINTMENT TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS

TO: ALL MEMBERS OF THE DISTRICT AND THE PUBLIC

In accordance with Water Code section 34707 and Government Code section 1780, the Board of Directors of North Bay Water District will consider appointing Directors to fill two vacancies of the Board of Directors at its next regular meeting to be held on January 10, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. at the District’s place of business at Schell-Vista Station #1. 22950 Broadway, Sonoma, CA 95476, or, by Zoom pursuant to Executive Order N-25-20 Regarding Teleconferencing of Board Meetings and Emergency Meeting Requirements under the Brown Act. Notices for regular meetings of the Board are posted at least 72 hours before the meeting. 

Any person interested in serving on the Board of Directors should

send a letter to Carolyn Wasem, at the following address stating interest in the position and giving the applicants qualifications:

             Should the Board appoint a Director on January 10, 2023, to fill the vacancies, those newly-appointed Directors shall take office effective immediately, and shall hold the office of Director until the District’s next general election scheduled to be held in November, 2024.

          In order to qualify for the appointment, the candidate must be:

1.    A holder of title to land within the District.

2.    The legal representative of a holder of title to land within the District in accordance with Section 34030 of the Water Code.

3.    A representative designated by a holder of title to land within the District, if the holder has filed with the District written evidence of that designation.
